The Boot and Shoe is in the village of Barkston Ash which lies approximately two miles from Sherburn in Elmet, and approximately five miles from Tadcaster on the A162.

From Leeds or York take the Tadcaster turn off of the A64 and head for Sherburn on the A162

Just after the village of Towton you will pass the Scarthingwell Golf Club on your left the next village is Barkston Ash turn left into the village  The Boot and Shoe is 100yds on the left
